🧸 Membership and Service 🧸

We appreciate your effort in seeking to be an active member of Stony Brook University's Pre-Dental Society! Maintaining active membership in a club such as PDS is seen favorably by dental schools, and it helps us show the university that we have an active, engaged community in PDS!

Those who fulfill the requirements to be an active member will be eligible to run for an E-Board position in the Spring. 

Here are the requirements to become an active member. All requirements must be completed within a single semester.

• Attend at least 50% of General Body Meetings (GBMs)

• Attend at least 1 event hosted by Pre-Dental Society that is not a GBM

• 4 Hours of community service (documented), 2 of which must be done with SBUPDS

Every month there will be at least one community service opportunity hosted by Pre-Dental Society totalling up to one hour. Oftentimes this community service will be done by donating items, such as toys or necessities, depending on the opportunity given in the month. To hand in donations, please contact one of our Community Service Coordinators, Naijah or Sonam.
